EDL 2013 postcard
 
Acting as promoters of plurilinguism in the GTA, Alliance Française de TorontoCamões TorontoGoethe-Institut Toronto,  Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto and Spanish Centre Toronto, in collaboration with Prologue to the Performing Arts  will be hosting their 4th European Day of Languages in Toronto. As in the previous year, the former part of the day will be dedicated to a younger audience, the latter to an adult crowd.

Young audience 1-3pm (by invitation only)

Interactive live performance with Mark Ford, singer-songwriter, presented by Prologue to the Performing Arts, where children from Toronto schools will participate in “composing” a song together with Mark Ford in various European Languages. They will also be participating in a Rhythm, Dance & Music workshop by Dalilyn Martinez.

Adult audience 5-8pm

There will be free sample classes in French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Danish (first come, first served) and Speak dating in the same languages. A raffle to win $200.00 towards a language course and the evening will end with a live Cuban Band.
