November 8th, 5 p.m. – Residence of His Excellence, The Ambassador of Portugal in Canada, Dr. José Moreira da Cunha.

November 9thPortuguese School Missão de Santa Cruz, with the presence of the Consul-General of Portugal, Dr. Fernando Demée de Brito.

A afirmação do português em organismos internacionais, na divulgação científica e comunicação digital vai dominar a 2ª Conferência Internacional sobre o Futuro da Língua Portuguesa no Sistema Mundial, que se realiza a 29 e 30 de outubro na Reitoria e na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade Lisboa.Este evento reunirá mais de 300 participantes, entre responsáveis políticos, institucionais, investigadores e académicos, na sua maioria provenientes dos oito Estados-membros da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP): Angola, Brasil, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, Portugal, S. Portuguese Language Certification

Waterloo Certificates Awarding Ceremony
The Coordination of the Portuguese Language Program in Canada informs that the Certificates Awarding Ceremony for the students who passed the exams of the Portuguese Language Certification from the Portuguese Schools of Cambridge and Kitchener. The ceremony will take place at St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centre, 80 Young St., in Kitchener, where the Consul-General of Portugal in Toronto, Dr. Júlio Vilela will be present.
Merit Diplomas will also be awarded to the three students for their excellente performance.

The Certification of the Portuguese Language was a joint initiative of Camões, Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua and the  Ministério da Educação.
