A Date with Miss Fortune will be opening in 3 theatres in the Greater Toronto Area (Cineplex Winston Churchill, Cineplex Vaughan and Cineplex Yonge & Dundas).The movie will be released on January 29th. Written by the Luso-Canadian actress Jeannette Sousa, this feature film is about the fantasy of love at first sight and what happens when that fantasy simultaneously crashes into reality. The film also stars Joaquim de Almeida, Ryan Scott, Vik Sahay, George Stroumboulopoulos, Claudia Ferri and Nelly Furtado.
