In a celebration of Europe and what it represents, EUNIC Toronto members, Alliance Française, Camões Toronto, Goethe-Institut and Istituto Italiano di Cultura, will be visiting several secondary schools in the GTA in order to give presentations to many students. This year, students will have the opportunity to test their knowledge with a fun quiz and learn about what opportunities they can find in Europe.

Presentations will take place on Monday, May 9th 2016

European Book Club – May 2016


Istituto Italiano di Cultura, together with Alliance francaise Toronto, Consulate General of France, Goethe-Institut, Instituto Camões Portugal are pleased to invite you to the 2016 European Book club series. This year’s focus will be on authors who have migrated and adapted to a different country, writing in the new languages of their adopted homes.

Amara Lakhous was born in Algiers in 1970 and now lives in Italy where he has won the prestigious Flaiano prize for his second novel.
