Camões – CLP Toronto Library:  José Saramago Room

Camões – CLP Toronto library offers over 2,500 books in Portuguese, with a focus on Portugal and its culture, comprising literary works, monographs and other more general and local printed publications. Our literature collection includes fiction, novel and short-story, poetry, children’s literature, etc., and our essay volumes cover literary themes and questions, art, music, philosophy, political sciences, history, geography, religion, education.We also have a small Portuguese film collection.

Borrowing service
Readers may borrow books for a period not exceeding 30 days, by becoming a member of Camões – CLP Toronto Library. Membership and borrowing privileges are free of charge. Items borrowed may be renewed upon request. Replacement of lost copies will be requested for failure to return books or for damaged-beyond-repair items.

Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
